How to Clear Autofill in Safari on Mac OS X manually

You can delete your entire autocomplete lists from the Safari with a few steps:

  1. Launch Safari.
  2. Click 'Safari' in the menu bar on the top-left side of the screen.
  3. Click on 'Clear History and Website Data…'
  4. Click on 'the last hour' and change it to 'all history.'
  5. Click 'Clear History.'

Cleaning autocomplete history in Chrome is, like Safari, a few steps:

  1. Launch Chrome.

  5. Checkmark 'Browsing history,' 'Cookies and other site and plugin data,' 'Passwords,' and 'Autofill form data.'
  6. Click 'Clear browsing data.'

Clearing autocomplete in Firefox is, you guessed it, a few steps:

  2. Click the three-line, hamburger button in the top-right corner of the window.
  3. Select 'History.'
  4. Click 'Clear Recent History…'
  5. Change 'Last Hour' to 'Everything.'

  7. Make sure you checkmark the 'Form & Search History' box, and anything else you wish to clear.
  8. Click 'Clear Now.'
