I was in the same situation and researched it a bit. I've registered an issue on TunnelBlick. The immediate workarounds are described in OpenVPN wiki. The method 2, override, looks the most simple. Add the following options to the clients config. Download Tunnelblick 4.3, then Install. (Tunnelblick is the OpenVPN client for Mac) Step 2: Double click Tunnelblick, Click on I have configuration files. Step 3: On the new interface, select OpenVPN Configuration(s). Step 4: Then an Empty Tunnelblick VPN Configuration file will be opened automatically, click on Done.
